I hope you are even vaguely aware that many of my witnesses experienced World War I and World War II. As such, they know of a time when life in the United States was different. I have come to refer to people of this era as my "control" group. The government was different; education was different; medical care was different; the food was different; entertainment was different; religion was different. The overall attitude of our country was different. You could almost define their lives in terms of pre-war and post-war, the differences were that noticeable.
Persons born as early as 1875 could have lived through both wars; the men serving in one or both. William Guy Carr, Henry Ford, Albert Jay Nock, and Douglas Reed were born prior to the turn of the 20th century. They were young men at the time of World War I and men with enough years behind them to understand the events of post World War II. Dr. Lorraine Day, Dr. Nancy Turner Banks, Don Miller, Jr., MD., David Pidcock and so many more grew up during the years surrounding World War II.
What we get from these witnesses is a unique perspective, which if we will pay attention, explains what the differences are and why. In lieu of scientific and technological advances, we are prone to want to leave the past behind. But for those today who struggle to make sense of what they see and hear, what we can learn from the past goes far in bringing reason where nonsense seems to reign.

Students of conspiracy history come from all walks of life. There is no stereotype or label that can be applied, no distinguishing features or mannerisms that identify. What they have in common is the need to make sense of what makes no sense.
Nancy Turner Banks, author of AIDS, Opium, Diamonds and Empire, has been a student of conspiracy history for six years. In her own words, she answers the questions, “Where are you in this process, and how did you get there?”
“One of the things that happened to me is that, like so many people in the United States, we are told if we get an education and we work hard, and if we take the risk, we get the reward. I did that. I worked hard. I was taking the risk and I was getting the rewards.
“Then all of a sudden things changed in health care. It seemed like I was taking the risk and doing the work, and the insurance companies were getting the reward. That is what happened when what they call Health Maintenance Organizations began to extract wealth out of local communities. They began to take wealth not only from the physicians and the patients but from the local hospitals.
“The quality of the care began to diminish as the pay of the fee owed to these conglomerates skyrocketed. I said, there is something that I don’t know that is going on in the business world that I need to be made aware of. This is when I actually went to Business School.
“I was sitting in an Economics Class one day . . . and they are talking about fractional reserve banking. It was like a light-bulb moment. I am going: that cannot be right. How could they do that? Then, when I thought about it, I said, that is a great scam!
“. . . Once I really understood that the control of the planet at this point seems to rest with a certain group of people in the banking structure, once I accepted that, things began to fall in place about how the world was really being run.”[1]

As a senior medical student she was awarded a scholarship from the American College of Surgeons to study surgery and tropical medicine at the Benin Medical College in Benin, Nigeria. She was a Galloway Fellow in gynecological oncology at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Banks also holds a masters degree in finance.

· The original papers by the government scientist Robert Gallo printed in the journal Science never proved that HIV was the cause of an acquired immune disease (AIDS).

Here, I represent the views of three men: two contemporaries of the Twentieth Century, Douglas Reed and William Guy Carr, and the other, Mark Glenn, a contemporary of the Twenty-First Century. Each one, in his own words, describes what we do, in fact, see going on in our world.

This new freedom that we are going to see take place in these countries, if indeed the Western-Zionist powers are successful in installing a new king on top of these people, is going to be poisoned.
“You are going to see the same kind of cultural rot take hold of these countries as we have seen take place in the West. This is what freedom and democracy is going to mean for these people. It is going to mean a relax in restrictions on pornography. The lax moral standards that we see prevailing here in the West; you will see this take over in the Muslim world as well, because Islam represents, as an ideology, the most serious threat to what we would call the New World Order.
“Islam cannot be corrupted the way Christianity has. Islam refuses to go along with what we would call Zionist-Capitalism. So, this is something I strongly recommend, my Muslim friends, and I am saying this as a Christian, that we have to be very careful about the exuberance and all of the support we are throwing behind these revolutions because if the wrong regime is put in place, on top of these people, you will see their countries destroyed from within, just as the countries in the West have been destroyed by these same moral poisons.

“I can no longer find authority in the Scriptures, or by reasoning, to justifying allowing ourselves to be divided into opposing camps, then armed, and made to fight and kill each other in order to solve political, social, economic, or other problems which are no nearer solution now than they ever were. It just doesn’t make sense that Christians [and /or Muslims] can be divided into opposing camps and made to kill each other off by the tens of millions without having the slightest personal animosity for one another.”[3]

I have learned by experience that, for lack of knowing what question I should have asked, progress is stymied. For that reason, assuming others are plagued similarly, when speaking of matters dealing with conspiracy history, I seldom wait for the question before offering the answer.
Or, sometimes I am compelled to act and only later does the answer follow.
I have already shared that I am not a new student of conspiracy history, so it is not that I have nothing to say. I struggle to know how to say what needs to be said; how to give credibility to ideas that seem incredible.
So, I will tell you before you ask: what has given me courage to stand firm for my beliefs is the realization that "conspiracy" thinking is not new. You don't have to believe me. There are a host of others who precede me. I have only learned what they have to say, and based on their research and documentation, I feel confident to share with others. I think it is unnecessary to reinvent the wheel, or repeat their research. What I can do is take their research and connect it to events of my lifetime to play it forward.
The suggestion that Jesus was aware of a conspiracy of which He made frequent reference, issuing repeated warnings to whoever would listen, has completely changed my understanding of the Bible and religion. He spoke of "those who call themselves Jews, but are not" and the "Synagogue of Satan" (Revelations 2:9)
If my introduction to conspiracy history began with the questions surrounding the assassination of President John F. Kennedy in the 60s, masked in a Taylor Caldwell novel, imagine my surprise to learn that there were people in the 1930s and 40s who were also aware and seeking answers for the questions they were compelled to ask relating to circumstances and events of their time: Albert Jay Nock and William Guy Carr; Nesta Webster; Major General Smedley Butler; Douglas Reed.
Mine has been a careless, self-serving research compared to the labours of the above authors, many whose books have been well-researched, well-written, and heavily well-documented that there could be no doubt of the facts they were exposing.
I have just begun to mine the writings of these authors, currently reading the books of William Guy Carr. Many of the books written by these authors are available as .pdf files online. Eventually, I will have copies or links available here, too.

I want to add two new witnesses to my list. They are “new” to me in the sense that I am just learning about their contributions to help expose the truth of conspiracy history. However, they have been writing and blogging for several years in a sane, rational fashion that makes them welcome company here.
A researcher for over 24 years and a blogger since 2008, Kev at The Republic of Shrewd Exposure, shares my appreciation for the work of Daryl Bradford Smith at The French Connection. While I have not read too deeply at Kev’s site, yet, I certainly intend to because he addresses issues that are of particular interest to me.
One of his posts introduced me to the second witness, and I was so struck and impressed with what I read and heard that I knew I wanted to add both these men to my Cloud of Witnesses ASAP.
On November 5, 2009, Kev wrote about one of his mentors, whom he learned had died unexpectedly two months prior. Don Harkins was the founder and Editor-in-Chief of The Idaho Observer.
The work of both of these men deserves to be shared and read. As Kev did, I, too, am including in my post a video interview with Don Harkins from 2006 and his essay, Slavery and the Eight Veils, which resonates strongly with my own currently held beliefs and understanding.
Slavery and the Eight Veils

Over the last several years I have evolved and discarded several theories in an attempt to explain why it is that most people cannot see truth -- even when it smacks them in the face. Those of us who can see “the conspiracy” have participated in countless conversations amongst ourselves that address the frustration of most peoples' inability to comprehend the extremely well-documented arguments which we use to describe the process of our collective enslavement and exploitation. The most common explanation to be arrived at is that most people just “don't want to see” what is really going on.
Extremely evil men and women who make up the world's power-elite have cleverly cultivated a virtual pasture so grass green that few people seldom, if ever, bother to look up from where they are grazing long enough to notice the brightly colored tags stapled to their ears.
The same people who cannot see their enslavement for the pasture grass have a tendency to view as insane “conspiracy theorists” those of us who can see past the farm and into the parlor of his feudal lordship's castle.
Finally, I understand why.
It's not that those who don't see that their freedom is vanishing under the leadership of the power-elite “don't want to see it” -- they simply can't see what is happening to them because of the unpierced veils that block their view.
All human endeavors are a filtration process. Sports is one of the best examples. We play specific sports until we get kicked off the playground. The pro athletes we pay big bucks to watch just never got kicked off the playground. Where millions of kids play little league each spring, they are filtered out until there are about 50 guys who go to the World Series in October.
Behind the first veil: There are over six billion people on the planet. Most of them live and die without having seriously contemplated anything other than what it takes to keep their lives together. Ninety percent of all humanity will live and die without having pierced the first veil.
The first veil: Ten percent of us will pierce the first veil and find the world of politics. We will vote, be active and have an opinion. Our opinions are shaped by the physical world around us; we have a tendency to accept that government officials, network media personalities and other “experts” are voices of authority. Ninety percent of the people in this group will live and die without having pierced the second veil.
The second veil: Ten percent of us will pierce the second veil to explore the world of history, the relationship between man and government and the meaning of self-government through constitutional and common law. Ninety percent of the people in this group will live and die without having pierced the third veil.
The third veil: Ten percent of us will pierce the third veil to find that the resources of the world, including people, are controlled by extremely wealthy and powerful families whose incorporated old world assets have, with modern extortion strategies, become the foundation upon which the world's economy is currently indebted. Ninety percent of the people in this group will live and die without having pierced the fourth veil.
The fourth veil: Ten percent of us will pierce the fourth veil to discover the Illuminati, Freemasonry and the other secret societies. These societies use symbols and perform ceremonies that perpetuate the generational transfers of arcane knowledge that is used to keep the ordinary people in political, economic and spiritual bondage to the oldest bloodlines on earth. Ninety percent of the people in this group will live and die without having pierced the fifth veil.
The fifth veil: Ten percent of us will pierce the fifth veil to learn that the secret societies are so far advanced technologically that time travel and interstellar communications have no boundaries and controlling the actions of people is what their members do as offhandedly as we tell our children when they must go to bed. Ninety percent of the people in this group will live and die without having pierced the sixth veil.
The sixth veil: Ten percent of us will pierce the sixth veil where the dragons and lizards and aliens we thought were the fictional monsters of childhood literature are real and are the controlling forces behind the secret societies. Ninety percent of the people in this group will live and die without piercing the seventh veil.
The seventh veil: I do not know what is behind the seventh veil. I think it is where your soul is evolved to the point you can exist on earth and be the man Gandhi was, or the woman Peace Pilgrim was-people so enlightened they brighten the world around them no matter what.
The eighth veil? Piercing the eighth veil probably reveals God and the pure energy that is the life force in all living things-which are, I think, one and the same.
If my math is accurate there are only about 60,000 people on the planet who have pierced the sixth veil. The irony here is too incredible: Those who are stuck behind veils one through five have little choice but to view the people who have pierced the veils beyond them as insane. With each veil pierced, exponentially shrinking numbers of increasingly enlightened people are deemed insane by exponentially increasing masses of decreasingly enlightened people.
Adding to the irony, the harder a “sixth or better veiler” tries to explain what he is able to see to those who can't, the more insane he appears to them.
Our enemy, the state
Behind the first two veils we find the great majority of people on the planet. They are tools of the state: Second veilers are the gullible voters whose ignorance justify the actions of politicians who send first veilers off to die in foreign lands as cannon fodder -- their combined stations in life are to believe that the self-serving machinations of the power-elite are matters of national security worth dying for.
Third, fourth, fifth and sixth veilers are of increasing liability to the state because of their decreasing ability to be used as tools to consolidate power and wealth of the many into the hands of the power-elite. It is common for these people to sacrifice more of their relationships with friends and family, their professional careers and personal freedom with each veil they pierce.
Albert Jay Nock (1870-1945), author of “Our Enemy, the State” (1935), explained what happens to those who find the seventh and eighth veils: “What was the best that the state could find to do with an actual Socrates and an actual Jesus when it had them? Merely to poison one and crucify the other, for no reason but that they were too intolerably embarrassing to be allowed to live any longer.”
Conclusions
And so now we know that it's not that our countrymen are so committed to their lives that, “they don't want to see,” the mechanisms of their enslavement and exploitation. They simply “can't see” it as surely as I cannot see what's on the other side of a closed curtain.
The purpose of this essay is threefold: To help the handful of people in the latter veils to understand why the masses have little choice but to interpret their clarity as insanity; 2. To help people behind the first two veils understand that living, breathing and thinking are just the beginning and; 3. Show people that the greatest adventure of our life is behind the next veil because that is just one less veil between ourselves and God.

Third, fourth, fifth and sixth veilers are of increasing liability to the state because of their decreasing ability to be used as tools to consolidate power and wealth of the many into the hands of the power-elite. It is common for these people to sacrifice more of their relationships with friends and family, their professional careers and personal freedom with each veil they pierce.
Albert Jay Nock (1870-1945), author of “Our Enemy, the State” (1935), explained what happens to those who find the seventh and eighth veils: “What was the best that the state could find to do with an actual Socrates and an actual Jesus when it had them? Merely to poison one and crucify the other, for no reason but that they were too intolerably embarrassing to be allowed to live any longer.”
Conclusions
And so now we know that it's not that our countrymen are so committed to their lives that, “they don't want to see,” the mechanisms of their enslavement and exploitation. They simply “can't see” it as surely as I cannot see what's on the other side of a closed curtain.
The purpose of this essay is threefold: To help the handful of people in the latter veils to understand why the masses have little choice but to interpret their clarity as insanity; 2. To help people behind the first two veils understand that living, breathing and thinking are just the beginning and; 3. Show people that the greatest adventure of our life is behind the next veil because that is just one less veil between ourselves and God.

William Guy Carr was a student of History: "I read history which mostly records wars and revolutions . . . I had read all the history I could get my hands on except BIBLE HISTORY . . . a study of modern history showed that the younger generation is being taught to believe a pack of lies and deceits. Christians have that absolute in God’s revelation.”[2] Frances Schaeffer says it is because Christians have “an absolute, universal standard by which to judge not only personal morals but the state” they are counted as enemies.

Forbidden usury, remembering "money is the root of all evil", and worship of a false god were the impetus of the global threat we are now facing.

This is true of Muslims, also. “Islam represents, as an ideology, the most serious threat to . . . the New World Order. Islam cannot be corrupted the way Christianity has. Islam refuses to go along with what we call Zionist-Capitalism.”[3]
What exactly is it that Islam refuses? How do the Muslims avoid the corruption that has “destroyed the Christian West”?[4]
Islamic banking follows the holy law set out in the Qur’an which forbids the charging of interest in exchange for a loan, while Western banking practices are built on interest. The Qur’an doesn’t offer reasons for the ban on usury as the Torah does. Without reasons, there has been no rationale for wrong interpretation or application by Islam, while restrictions on lending at interest have essentially been forgotten in Judaism and Christianity.[5]
John Calvin, an important early figure in Protestant Christianity, is said to have written a defense of usury. However, one of the major aspects of conspiracy history has to do with moneylenders and international bankers and their vicious use of usury to foment wars and revolutions and destroy countries.
And reading the “hidden history” yields the further fact that “contrary to general belief, Calvin, hence Calvinism is of Jewish origin. Calvin’s real name was Cohen, which is Hebrew for priest. When he went from Geneva to France to start preaching his doctrine he became known as Calvin. Then, in England it became Calvin. History proves that there is hardly a revolutionary plot that wasn’t hatched in Switzerland; there is hardly a Jewish revolutionary leader who hasn’t changed his name.”[6]

The human race is divided into two main camps as far as religion is concerned. Those in one camp believe in the existence of a God. Those in the other camp deny the existence of a Supreme Being of any kind.[1] Belief in the existence of

God automatically includes belief in supernaturally Good [God] and Evil [Devil] Spirits which can influence men’s minds for Good or Evil purposes.[2]
Atheists, on the other hand, do not believe in the existence of Supernatural Beings. They argue that God has never been proved to exist. Most atheists base their beliefs on the principle that there is only one reality – MATTER – That the blind forces of MATTER (sometimes referred to as ENERGY) evolve into vegetable, animal and man. They deny the existence of a soul, and the possibility of life, in another world, after the death of our mortal bodies.[3]
Being fully aware of my limitations, I am frank to admit that since I published Pawns in the Game (1955) and Red Fog Over America (1957)…I have learned a great deal more about the World Revolutionary Movement (W.R.M.) and its relationship to the existence of the continuing Luciferian conspiracy directed against God and man by those who comprise the Synagogue of Satan (S.O.S.) on this earth than I knew before I published them…the struggle being directed by Lucifer to cause human beings to defect from God…[4]

The wicked man conceives an evil plot, labors with its dark details, and brings to birth his treachery and lies. . .[6]
Sin lurks deep in the hearts of the wicked, forever urging them onto evil deeds. They have no fear of God to hold them back. Evil men spy on the godly, waiting for an excuse to accuse them and then demanding their death.[8]

They cut me down with sharpened tongues; they aim their bitter words like arrows straight at my heart. They shoot from ambush at the innocent. Suddenly the deed is done, yet they are not afraid. They encourage each other to do evil. They meet in secret to set their traps. “He will never notice them here,” they say. They keep a sharp lookout for opportunities of crime. They spend long hours with all their endless evil thoughts and plans.[9]
For the wicked shall not rule the godly, lest the godly be forced to do wrong.[10]
Because wars and revolutions forced upon the masses (Goyim) are the means by which the Synagogue of Satan intend to make those, they plot to subjugate, destroy their own forms of governments and religions so they can be enslaved under a Luciferian dictatorship. obviously the only way to prevent them carrying out this diabolical plan through to its logical conclusion is to refuse to become involved in any more wars and revolutions under any circumstances. This would require individuals to practice passive resistance to authorities who would force them into war.[11]
I once held all conscientious objectors in contempt. I considered them cowards, traitors to their country, people who failed to appreciate the benefits citizenship gave them. But I realize now, after studying the Luciferian conspiracy from all angles, what God really meant when He gave us the command “thou shalt not kill.” He didn’t qualify this command by saying killing on a mass scale, i.e., wars and revolutions, can be justified.[12]

I am frank to admit that as late as 1945 I was convinced that a One World Government was the ONLY solution to the world’s many problems, particularly political, economic, social and religious. It wasn’t until I came in personal contact with men who advocated and helped organize the United Nations Organization that I began to suspect that something was wrong somewhere.
When I was appointed to the staff of Naval Service headquarters in 1944…I was welcomed into the internationalist set. Thus I came in personal contact with men in the top level of government in Canada who were protégés of the then Prime Minister.
While I was on the staff in Ottawa I was carefully sounded out to determine if my loyalty to the British Crown was so pronounced that I wouldn’t be likely to accept the “idea” of a One World Government even if those who presented the “idea” emphasized the fact that national governments would be allowed to rule their own affairs. This presentation is so obviously a lie that I was extremely cautious from then on.[2]

Internationalism. n. the principle or policy of international cooperation for the common good.

the publication of my first book, By Guess and By God, I met
many prominent literary and newspaper men. I sat next to the
editor of a famous New York daily at a banquet…During the meal
the conversation driftedto…the possibility that Canada might
become part of the United States in the not too distant future.
I declared it my opinion that the Canadian people would never
agree to any plan to separate Canada from the Mother country.
I said: Canadians will never allow the British Empire to be broken
up. They will never become part of the U.S.A.
The Editor replied: “The Canadian people will have no say in the
matter. If [the Prime Minister] lives long enough he will use the
Marxist-Bismark type of “liberalism” to lead the people of Canada
into a dictatorship like the One Worlders are doing in the United
States. The people swallow this “pie-in-the-sky” policy like sheep
eat grass before they are slaughtered”.[3]
Knowing that there was in existence a “Secret Power” which had used Nazism and intended to use Communism to serve its own secret plans, and further its own ambitions to usurp undisputed world domination, I was determined to find out, if possible, who or what the secret power was. So I pretended to become an internationalist. I was then brought in personal contact with men at the deputy minister level of government, and also with some of the “Specialists”, “Experts”, and “Advisers” who served the government behind the scenes. Then, I began to suspect the truth.
Generally speaking, the majority of One Worlders were Satanists. These people were all far too intelligent to be atheists. They know there is the supernatural as well as the natural, therefore, if they defect from God they automatically become Satanist as far as this world is concerned, and Luciferian as far as the next world is concerned. It is only by emptying our minds of all assumptions, biases and preconceived ideas that we can get to the crux of conspiracy history. If you refuse to consider any and all information, no matter how outrageous, unreasonable, or extreme it may appear, truth may be overlooked. Often, truth is found in the simple rather than the complex, which again makes it easier to overlook because our natural inclination is to think that intrigue must be hidden and disguised. The facts indicate that, actually, most of the deception is taking place right before our eyes, but because we have forgotten how to be wise, we are blind.

Jesus said this:
I know how much you suffer for the Lord, and I know all about your poverty (but you have heavenly riches!). I know the slander of those opposing you, who say that they are Jews – the children of God – but are not, but are the Synagogue of Satan.[4]
If these facts are omitted from the research, a faulty conclusion will result.
